Los Angeles State Historic Park will play host to a slew of big name acts on September 27^th in an effort to raise social awareness and inspire community unity.  Les Claypool (Primus), Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), and the RZA aka Bobby Digital (Wu Tang Clan) will headline the show as Morello’s side project The Nightwatchman. Also performing will be the legendary punk act Suicidal Tendencies, along with more than 25 other artists known for thought provoking music and provocative mentalities. 

Delivering a message of social awareness through music is a time honored tradition, and the lineup for this event promises a inspiring collection of socially conscious, progressive minded artists who know how to connect with their audience.

This third installment of the festival, brought to you by Project Sweatshop and Grass Roots productions, will also feature keynote speakers such as anti war activist Cindy Sheehan and former congresswoman and current Green Party presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney

Be sure to arrive early, and ready for a day outdoors, as parking and picnic areas will likely be limited.  The obvious choice would be to ride the Gold Line, as the Chinatown station is a short easy walk from the park. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster for $45.00, with a VIP package including goodies like drink tickets, special viewing area passes, T- shirts, free snacks, and more for $100.00.  The show is set to start at 4p.m, and scheduled to run until midnight.
