Kin Dance Company in Association with Full-Amo Productions present an exiting and energetic NEW musical titled Down Around Brown Town at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center.
Conceived, directed and choreographed by Frit and Frat Fuller, Down Around Brown Town celebrates the music of the late, legendary Godfather of Soul, Mr. James Brown.
The show opens with a pre-recorded introduction by Blair Underwood and testimonial from Dorian Harewood. Music is provided by the one-and-only James Brown Band with guest vocals from Sean McNab. This "must see" musical combines dance, song, text and a whole lot of soul in an evening of pure entertainment and joy. A Soul Food Reception follows each performance.
Producers Frit and Frat Fuller are the creators and Co-Artistic Directors of Kin Dance Company, a nonprofit organization focused on keeping dance and theater flourishing in Los Angeles.
