It's hard to fathom that the award winning and audience pleasing "Sex and the City" is over. The biggest question is: how does HBO, the network of "Sex and the City" move on? What kind of show could possibly fill the enormous gap? And, what in the world is the "Entourage"?
"Entourage" is a half-hour sitcom about rising, young movie star Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier)
who imports his posse from Queens to Hollywood in order to help him adjust to stardom and all the benefits and pitfalls. Keeping Vince grounded are friends Eric (Kevin Connolly) and Turtle (Jerry Ferrara), and half-brother Drama (Kevin Dillon). The guys are along for the bumpy, funny ride of fame and fortune and will help Vince with important decisions. When I asked Dillon is there was added pressure on the guys to be an instant success he said "they didn't feel the heat". And that everyone, the cast and crew, just wanted to make a great series. agree...it is a must see addition to Sunday night.
Don't miss the premiere of "Entourage" on Sunday July 18, 2004 at 10 PM and watch for subsequent episodes for the next eight weeks. Jessica Alba, Gary Busey, Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman make cameos in future episodes. Watch out for this to be a big hit for HBO and for Adrian Grenier to become a breakout star.
