 Can’t wait to go back to school? Not real school of course, but East High? Well, as millions anxiously await for High School Musical 3: Senior Year to hit theaters this October, everyone’s favorite blonde Wildcat is starring in a movie of her own.
High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale headlines her very first feature-length film in the highly anticipated DVD premiere of Picture This. Tisdale stars as Mandy Gilbert, an unpopular high school senior (not at all like Sharpay!) who lands a date to the biggest party of the year with Drew (Robbie Amell; Cheaper by the Dozen 2), the school’s hottest guy. Only problem…she’s grounded! With the help of her friends and her new, must-have video phone, she’ll have to outsmart her overprotective dad and Drew’s ex-girlfriend in a crazy, adventure-filled day that proves popularity can come and go, but good friends will always be in the picture!
Featuring a rockin’ musical performance by Tisdale to the hit ’80s single “Shadows of the Night” and laugh-out-loud performances from Kevin Pollak, Lauren Collins and Shenae Grimes (“Degrassi: The Next Generation”), Picture This is loaded with extras including two featurettes, scene-specific cell phone text commentary, behind-the-scenes footage and an exclusive trivia game.
