Greetings From Christine Kloser
Founder and Executive Director, NEW Entrepreneurs, Inc.

Time to Sow… Time to Reap
Have you been planting seeds for your business?  Whether your “seeds” are new prospects, joint venture partners, new team members, or a new product offering… you should always be planting seeds.  Or, as one of our upcoming speakers, Chellie Campbell says “Send out ships!”  I’ve spent this week “sowing” seeds by speaking at the Indus Women Leader’s Conference at the National Press Club in Washington, DC and also designing a brand-new revolutionary coaching program for Conscious Business Owners (here’s a picture of my “sticky note business plan” outlining tons of benefits I’ll be offering).  I’m so excited about this I can barely sleep.  I’ll give you the full scoop as soon as I’ve got all the details in place.

Dinner’s On Me
Would you join me for dinner… on my dime?  I’ll be flying out to Los Angeles on November 9th to attend Ali’s Brown’s “Online Success Blueprint Workshop” and thought it’d be fun to take you out to dinner if you’re going to be there, too.  If you haven’t hopped on board yet, go to
www.NEWentrepreneurs.com/AliBrown for all the details and if you register to attend, dinner’s on me Friday, November 10th.  I want to meet with you and share how I’ve implemented Ali’s online strategies to make as much as $40,000 online… in one month!  As much as I’ll miss my daughter, Janet Rose (and husband, too) it’ll be easier to be away knowing I’ll be meeting with you.

Greening Your Business
Have you been hearing about “green business.”  I know I have.  This week’s article is written by NEW member, Phila Hoopes.  She tells you exactly what it means to be a “green business” and shows you simple steps to make your business more “green.”  Enjoy!

(NEW Members, email your articles tonews@newentrepreneurs.com?subject=ezine_article and we’ll consider them for publication.)

Success Tip
Spend “productive time” every day taking at least one action that will affect the FUTURE of your business (rather than the details of today.)

Women’s Wisdom
””Now” is the operative word.  Everything you put in your way is just a method of putting off the hour when you could actually be doing your dream."
-Barbara Sher

To your success,

What's NEW . . . Resources For Your Business
Nicki Heskin, NEW Managing Director
nh@newentrepreneurs.com; (310) 562-0606

My daughter's 4th Birthday was Monday... I can't believe it!  And like usual, she had a great lesson to teach me.  Like thousands of kids around the country this weekend, but maybe one of the few girls, Jenna had a "Cars Party."  When she told us what she wanted, it took us by surprise, and took a while to get used to the idea that as the parents of two girls (Jenna and the one on the way), we'd have to figure out how to throw a car theme party, and a commercially-based one at that.  But it was what she wanted, it certainly didn't make her any less the adorable little girl she is, and she and all the other kids had a great time.

I think as women, and especially as spiritually-awake women, while we look for freedom in how we run our lives and our businesses, but we also sometimes limit our toolbox to exclude things we associate with men or traditional male values.  While sometimes this may be right for us, we can also miss things that we can either make use of or adapt for our use.  Or we ignore or deny something in ourselves because we don't believe it fits the feminine or the spiritual.  Christine and I struggle with this often in defining who we are and what we aren't...I challenge you to do the same.

Here's two upcoming events offering fabulous women speakers who aren't at all afraid to help us be or express who we are and explore how we can make that work for us...

This Holiday Season -- Laugh All the Way to the Bank...

We're in the home stretch of 2006...holiday shopping starts soon, even before Thanksgiving now, and end of year activities can really add up.  Financial Expert Chellie Campbell will join us in Santa Monica on November 2 to teach us how this Jingle Bell Season we can be "Laughing all the Way"... but to the bank, not just dashing through the snow.  She'll teach us how to Make More Money AND Have More Time for Fun -- a great end-of-year strategy or get an advance start on your New Year's Resolutions.  Details and registration are online now...get the advance price through Thursday, October 26.

Feature Article:  How Greening Your Business Can “Triple” Your Bottom Line
And Increase Your Market by 10% per Year
by Phila Hoopes

Maybe you noticed them first at the Giant, or even the Wal*Mart - bins of succulent organic produce beckoning where there’d been none before. Or maybe your accountant told you about the juicy tax and budget breaks that you can get from a solar water heater or hybrid car. Or possibly your doctor told you that if you must paint your house, low-VOC paints are really much healthier for respiratory sensitivities.

If you responded to any of these, or any of the other green products making their way into the mainstream, with a “Wow, I really need to have that!” – Congratulations! You are among the 63 million-plus “greening” American consumers!

Green consumers first made the news in 1995when sociologist Paul H. Ray documented a “cultural creative” subculture, 50 million strong.

Cultural Creatives were the force that drove – and still drives - green business. With their 18-70 age range spanning generational gaps, and with their backgrounds spanning religious, political, ethnic and geographical differences, they hold five key values that have shaped the products, services, and policies of the green marketplace:

  • sustainable economy
  • healthy lifestyles
  • alternative healthcare
  • personal development
  • ecological lifestyles
