  Each year, in May,  Las Vegas puts on an amazing culinary show.  Chefs from many of the

world's finest restaurants meet to display their wares.  Among the chefs appearing this yearwere:  Rick Moonen of RM Seafood, Bobby Flay of Mesa Grill, Bradley Ogden of Bradley Ogden at Caesar's Palace, Zach Allen of B&B Restaurant at the Venetian, Hubert Keller of Fleur deLys at the Mandalay Bay, Mary Sue Milliken of Border Grill Las Vegas, Michael Mina of Michael Mina Bellagio, Kerry Simon of Simon at Palms Place, Tom Colicchio of Craftsteak and too many more to mention.  They all have their own signature dishes.

On Sunday, May 10th in the afternoon at Aureole Restaurant at the Mandalay Bay Hotel was a chocolates tasting with Champagnes and Sparkling Wines.  It was the delicious pairings of great champagnes and sparkling wines with great desserts as Tiramisu, Cheesecake, Chocolate Fondant,

Chocolate Linzer Tarts.   In addition, Megan gave an exciting cooking demonstration in the kitchen at Aureole.  The wine expert from Aureole, William Sherer is the wine expert from Aureole.  He is a most knowledgeable professional and has a real passion for wine.  Please contact him if you have any questions regarding wine when dining at Aureole.  I tasted several different wines and champagnes I was not familiar with, yet they were all excellent.  

If you decide to come to Las Vegas Uncorked next year and are not sure where to stay I recommend The Bellagio Hotel.  All aspects of the hotel are of the highest quality.
